Playing with New Stash!

Over at the Craft Bubble forum this week Kathy set our 'just for fun' challenge and it was a sketch. I have lots of new stash and so decided to have a play. The background was created using my new Inktense Blocks and I worked on some newly acquired watercolour paper. I lightly spritzed with some gold shimmer. The flower and butterfly images were a new set by Sheena Douglass called Silhouette Wildflowers. These were stamped firstly with the Inktense blocks by scribbling onto the stamp and then spritzing with a little bit of water. To create more depth to the scene I then overstamped when dry with some black Staz on ink. I am going to enter this card into the following challenges:
Gingersnap Creations: Use a set of stamps
Let's Ink it Up!: Anything Goes!
Corrosive Challenge: Ring in the New Year (New stamp set, new inktense blocks)

This worked brilliantly all the more so because it's your first attempt with a new technique - loving the look of those inktense blocks
