Journey and a Party!

I used a new Memory Box die set that a crafty pal gave me for my birthday. Thank you Louise! Made a quick cream Gelli print and then over stamped with a newly acquired Tim Holtz stamp 'wood grain'. All layered up and I made a Moo embellishment for this card.

I designed this with the following challenges in mind:
Moo Mania: Journey
Cards for Men: String It Up!
A Colorful Journey: Gelli Party

Little Me...

a sketch in my mini journal using a little eye stamp I carved this afternoon. Crafting a bit hit and miss at the moment. Battling anaemia and start of term bugs x 2! I managed to focus for 30 minutes on carving the stamp which isn't even 1cm wide and this quick Pitt pen drawing. All coloured with a few pencil crayons.

Believe it or not I felt pleased enough with the end product to blog my 30 minute craft make. So it was worth dragging myself to my craft table after all.
I will enter my sketch into:

One Little Word # September Challenge

It is my first DT challenge over at One Little Word and this month the word is 'do'...

and it's definition:
Verb
  1. Perform (an action, the precise nature of which is often unspecified): "she knew what she was doing"; "what can I do for you?".
  2. Used before a verb (except be, can, may, ought, shall, will) in questions and negative statements.
I used the word 'do' in a question on my project... Do you believe in fairies?

Hope you will have time to hop over and take a look at the rest of the DT projects and I look forward to seeing your 'do' projects. Remember any styles of art/craft are welcome, as long as the link to the word is clear.

I am also going to enter this project into the following challenges:
Dynamic Duos: Soft Green and Soft Yellow
Craft Stamper: Take it, Make it challenge acetate
Crafting for All Seasons: For A Child
    Papertake Weekly: Child's Play

Sew...

Made this little card to send to a pal and used the sketch from the current Freshly Made Sketches. The design worked perfectly with a Moo and Moo Mania's current theme is 'Sewing'. I simply inked some card, over stamped and spritz a little water.

A Single...

flower. The theme over at So Artful challenge. I used a Darkroom Door image that I have had for years and kept things simple with 2 colours from the current Dynamic Duos challenge. Here is the mini journal page I made:

Memories...

I found a long forgotten stamp in my stash yesterday, that had never been inked. I know it was a freebie on the Craft Stampers magazine and after a bit of search I discovered it was by Art Journey from an issue in 2010. Here are the products I used on my mini journal page:

I designed this art journal page for the following challenges:
Faber Castell: Take the challenge Sept 13
Our Creative Corner: Forgotten things

Clay...

mini journal page using super light paper clay. I used hot pink acrylic paint for the clay base and then rubbed over with some grey paint. The overlay is acetate and the cherry blossoms were coloured with both Promarkers and some blended Pink Sherbet ink. The stamped sentiment is by Donna Downey and I added some grey washi/deco tapes.

I am going to enter my clay page into:
