Matchbox Crafting

Enjoy a day crafting with my pal Louise yesterday. It was great fun! We decided to have a go at altering a matchbox and here is what I made.

I used some Ellen Vargo stamps to create some background papers and even used some silver leaf to add a shimmer. In the end I got out my sewing machine to make the padded silver heart and created a border around my matchbox cover.

I am going to share my project over at Moo Mania and More with their theme 'metal'.

Looking for inspiration!

Week 43 of the documented life them was 'sketch what was in front of you'. I was sat at my craft desk and the first thing I spotted was my ladybird craft scissors. So here is my journal page for the week:

Lesson Three

I am also going to enter my journal page into the current Crafty Calender Challenge with the bingo line of flowers, sentiment and blues.

Week 42

of the documented life project and this week the theme is 'stars'. You will see (above) what my project looks like after 42 weeks of journaling. Can you spot the stars in my sketch?

That's right starry wellington boots!

I am going to share my journal page over at Moo Mania and More with their theme 'Bright and Cheerful'.
