Over at the Craft Bubble forum Kathy set our November challenge 'if I could keep time in a bottle' and my thoughts on the theme led me on a similar train of thought as the current challenge over at Artist in Blogland 'triumphs and defeats'. I went with a black and white colour scheme, I didn't personalise this page with journalling but all sorts of thoughts went through my head...very cathartic! The quote I chose really summed up my feelings.
I got out my handcarved stamps as they look great in black and also I could then enter the Art Journal Cafe challenge. As I used lots of black too I am also going to enter this page into Anything but a Card.
It looks great, i love B&W!
ReplyDeleteAnd it turned out just great with the B&W pic of you too - love the drizzled inks

Your eyes give this page a beautiful intensity.
ReplyDeleteA fabulous page Clare with a great composition and what makes it so striking for me is the black and white and the spots amongst all the straight lines. I love it.
