Barbara Gray and her design team have set up a Clarity Stamp Challenge blog and for their first monthly challenge they have an 'Anything Goes' them. Well, I decided to whip out my favourite Clarity Stamp this beautiful silver birch tree. The background was created by spritzing through a stencil which a Lime Green Dylusions inkspray, then I spritz over some Goosebumps texture spray. Once this was dry I used some dye based inks over the top.
The Goosebumps spray acts as a resist so I was able to buff off the ink onto to create the splatter pattern. I stamped onto some gessoed card stock. Then cut of trunks of the tree, stamped onto background and paper pieced them on top. The sketch I used is from the current Sunday Sketch and Stamp challenge. The black stripes were created using 2 different types of washi/deco tape.
I used lots of my favourite things (oh the hardship...LOL!) on this card (dylusions ink sprays, stencils, washi tape, dye based inks and of course stamps) so I could enter it into the By Cute and Girly 'Favourite Thing' challenge and Stamping Sensations 'The Great Outdoors'.
This is simply fab, Calre - love your background - good luck with the challenge too

This is a bit eerie...I think I've been channeling my inner Clare! I just finished posting my scenic art journal page and I used this same Clarity stamp in the same way! Look at how awesome you are--you inspired me before I even saw this gorgeous card! ;) Sorry to get my page done late, but it's here:
