Moo Mini Album

Here is the project I have been working on the past couple of days. It all started with a background paper which I created using masking tape, acrylic paint through stencils and then a couple of Distress Stains. It is came together with some little spring time Moos on the Kraft card pages and of course a couple of precious family photos.

I am going to enter this project into the following challenges:
Allsorts: Anything but a Card
Moo Mania: Spring time
Simon Says: Anything Goes

Tomorrow is Always...

Fresh with no mistakes in it! When I saw the current challenge over at One Little Word which this month is the word Fresh, I knew straight away which quotes I wanted to use and it also ties in really nicely with this months Journals Journey challenge of quotes.

You will be able to see the techniques and stages in my page when I launch lesson four of 'From Cardmaking to Art Journaling' in the next day or so.

What a hoot...

I have been busy over a few days making this little fellow:

He started life like this and after numerous layers of acrylic paint, lots of hand painted detail and some clay feet here he is!

I am going to share him over at Paint Party Friday

Her Finest Skill...

A quirky sentiment and stamp by Lindsey Mason. A plain box was the starting point and it has taken me a week to make what with one thing and other. The box was covered with ledger paper and book paper, dry brushed acrylic paints and stamping.

Dry brushed acrylic papers made and then used to punch out flowers. Created 3d effect layering up the scene and added to wires to the flowers. Upcycled some lids off bead tubes to create feet for my shadow box.

CCAYR # April Challenge

Wowser April already. How is everyone doing with their Christmas card stash? Today sees the launch of the new Christmas Cards All Year Around challenge and this month the theme is 'Christmas Trees'. I decided to have a go at carving my own modern take on the Christmas tree:

I created my own background using Dylusions Ink Spray/stencil and then some inking, layered up the stamps to add some dimension.

I am going to enter this card into Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas challenge 'Christmas Carol or Song' mine being 'Oh Christmas Tree' and Crimbo Crackers 'No papers' challenge.
