Today's face was done straight into a ledger book. No drawing first and just used Gelatos, to add the fine detail I used thin paper stump, dipped it into the Gelato then did some drawing with it. On reflection think her face is a bit too round but I am proud of myself for keeping to the theme of 29Faces this month and doing something 'you never dared!'
Sun and joy in her face!

I think it is perfect. Sometimes it needs an outside perspective. the round face isn't quite your normal but just as good in my view. I like the effect you have created with the gelatos. Fab to take the plunge and try something x
ReplyDeletewow very brave! Well done on just using gelato's - if you made her neck a little wider you may be happier? x
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, I like her yellow hair :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Clare, one of the first ever faces I drew in my journal used just Gelatos and I loved the effect. I don't mind the round face and your skin tone and hair are fabulous.
ReplyDeleteLovely, sun-like face!

Love it excellent face. And I love the roundness of her face, as with her yellow hair she is like a sunshine girl. Did you use the Gelatos dry or wet?
