Winter Journal Girl

Another project from me over at PaperArtsy and tonight it is a journal girl. 

 I use elements from my Eclectica stamp Set 2.

Look to the moon

Another art work based on a lesson by Effy Wild from the Radiant Faces class. A double ledger page today and I used Fresco Paints plus black gesso in the background.

Ditsy Girl

This week over at the documented life project the theme is 'add some fabric' and I decided to use some of this ditsy floral print to make a dress for my girl journal page. I am also going to share my journal page over at:

The Dreamer

Radiant Faces class continues and I am share my work from this week's lesson by Jamie Dougherty. Working on wood was a bit scary to started on paper. The only flat piece of wood I could find was a Prima Wooden ATC which you can buy at PaperArtsy.

Junk Journaling

I have been including all sorts of junk throughout lots of my projects in 2014. Here is a page I created for our 'bottle/bottles' challenge over at the Junk Journaling 14 Facebook group.

Girl with Apple

Week 45 of the documented life project this week is 'use a tab' and you will see mine is very understated! They have also started to launch details of 2015's project HERE is the link if anyone wants to check it out. I was also thinking about the new Art Journal Journey challenge too when working on this page and was inspired by Magritte but couldn't bring myself to draw an apple in front of her face!

Two Faces

The Radiant Faces workshop continues with some really different inspiration from Julie Gibbons and Kylie Fowler. Here are my projects for lesson four and five:

Week 44...

of the documented life project. I am still in sketching/drawing mode but managed to fit it to the theme 'leaves'. Been practising some stylized hair and plaits that Effy Wild showed us over at the Radiant Faces online workshop.

Matchbox Crafting

Enjoy a day crafting with my pal Louise yesterday. It was great fun! We decided to have a go at altering a matchbox and here is what I made.

I used some Ellen Vargo stamps to create some background papers and even used some silver leaf to add a shimmer. In the end I got out my sewing machine to make the padded silver heart and created a border around my matchbox cover.

Lesson Three

 

of Radiant Faces and this week I took inspiration from Christy Tomlinson. Worked in my ledger book for this girlie face:

I am also going to enter my journal page into the current Crafty Calender Challenge with the bingo line of flowers, sentiment and blues.

Week 42

of the documented life project and this week the theme is 'stars'. You will see (above) what my project looks like after 42 weeks of journaling. Can you spot the stars in my sketch?
