Look to the moon

Another art work based on a lesson by Effy Wild from the Radiant Faces class. A double ledger page today and I used Fresco Paints plus black gesso in the background.

an artist called Hannah Frank. She was a Glasgow based artist. See HERE. I used everything I have learned from the Radiant Faces class to create this ledger book page.

The Dreamer

Radiant Faces class continues and I am share my work from this week's lesson by Jamie Dougherty. Working on wood was a bit scary to started on paper. The only flat piece of wood I could find was a Prima Wooden ATC which you can buy at PaperArtsy.

Two Faces

The Radiant Faces workshop continues with some really different inspiration from Julie Gibbons and Kylie Fowler. Here are my projects for lesson four and five:

I am also going to enter my journal page into the current Crafty Calender Challenge with the bingo line of flowers, sentiment and blues.

This week's Radiant Face

Here is my artwork for Week Two of Radiant Faces. The class was taught by Tamara LaPorte. It started with the sketch:

the Lady Lilith art work by Rossetti it was time to pull together all I had learned in Jane Davenport's workshop. Here is my ledger book  I used a mixed of acrylic and watercolour pencils:

Radiant Faces

I stumbled upon this new online workshop when I spotted a post on Facebook. I had promised myself not to sign up to any courses as I have been disappointed in the past and not followed things through. But I couldn't resist with a title like "Radiant Faces" and even after only one post I feel happy it was worth the money. Jane Davenport provided the first class, what a wonderful artist she is! Here are my sketch work warm ups using Rossetti's Lady Lilith as inspiration:

Something totally different for me but it is lovely to try something new and add an extra string to my bow.
