There is a hole in my...

art journal page after using a sketch set by crafty pal Kathy k. I used this in conjunction with a really tough quote this month over at Artists in Blogland. Started with the hole which I had every intention of filling in but in the end it seem to feel right to leave in the hole and I chose a destroying themed quote which I could relate too. It is all created using acrylic paints and a bit of modelling paste to start off.

I am going to share my work at:

  7. great take on the sketch! I think the hole really fits the quote- playing on the words 'destroy' (hole) and 'stronger' (whole). VERY clever!
    fab use of modelling paste.
