Here is number 1! Didn't like the girls hair and so cut the top off her head and journalled about when your creative mind doesn't play ball! Once I had beheaded her I was just about to throw her away and then thought NO....PRETTY VACANT (thank goodness for the Sex Pistols!) So this is how my page came into being. I used some acrylic paints and foam stamps by Claudine Hellmuth (now being discontinued as she isn't working for Ranger any more...sniff!) to create the background. I quirky start I know but I didn't want to throw her away as I liked the face shading.
This is my second post of the day. Take a look at February's Junk Journal page below.
FAB - thanks for the explanation of your train of thought too

It's terrific! So interesting and I love the blues and greens! (I hate to think she might have ended up in the trash!)
ReplyDeleteHow could you ever thought of throwing this away? It is brilliant! I love the fact there is no hair. It adds to the abstractness of the page. Love the colours you have used and the geometrical feel.
ReplyDeletewow it looks great!!
ReplyDeletei love the colors! I think I feel like this at times. So many thoughts, it would be nice to open the head up and make it vacant!
ReplyDeleteshe's great!! glad you decided to save her.
