Being Brave

I haven't done much crafting the last few days but I have been reading Brave Intuitive Painting by Flora Bowley. Here is what I started with, an abstract background and then I looked for images within this to complete my composition. I worked on a large sheet (20" x16") of heavy weight watercolour paper, Flora recommends working large scale and that is the biggest sheet of paper I had. To be even braver, I need to work onto a large canvas so will be going shopping next!

  12. I've been wanting to try Floras process...I do it my own way but it's not the same. I wanted her book but the reviews weren't that good...I LOVE how your painting turned out! Can't wait to see your canvas! Would you recommend investing in the book? Thanks for sharing!

  23. Great colour palette and fabulous painting. I find this kind of work hard to do myself (difficult to let go of outcomes in the middle!) so yours is very inspiring.
