Now that is...

a challenge! This week over at The Documented Life the theme is to try something new with a stamp. As a lover of stamps and stamping I have done all sorts so a new technique was going to take a bit of research. As luck would have it I found a technique on Pinterest which fitted the bill, stamping into gloss gel medium. My journal page was created using acrylic paints and some stamping too. Then to seal it all and finish it off I painted on the thickish layer of glass gel medium and stamped into it. Once dry it created a fab textural layer to my page. I definitely will be doing this one again.

My finished page which I designed with flowers as Effy Wild has a art journal challenge on her forum with the theme flowers. I am also going to share my page over at AJED and Paint Party Friday.

  1. Gorgeous colours, love the contrast. Can just see the technique must have been hard to photograph, love the smaller flower stamp you used.

A very difficult prompt from DLP this week, great Tag:-) x

  7. THis is a new technique for me too....what a great idea. And I think you really used it to it's advantage. I'm enjoying looking at all your DLP pages - thanks for the post with a link to your blog. I'm afraid my blog has been neglected for months now. Am managing to keep up with the weekly challenges though! Thanks again for a great idea.
