29 Faces Done!

Here is my final face for this month's 29 Faces challenge. Loved the challenge and tried some new techniques this time around.

to go and so nearly made it to the end of 29 Faces challenge. Here is an ATC I made with a little face using my new pen a Uni ball Signo 207 bold. Christy Tomlinson was recommending them and I thought I would try it. Like it so far, must try it will water and mixed media next.

Continuing my count down to completing 29 Faces. A really mixed media face. I used Promarkers, India ink pens and inks.

Ledger page face today using Gelato (with some water) and a touch of watercolour pencils to define her features a little.

Week 39

 

of the documented life project and also keeping up with the 29 Faces challenge. Neon ink splatters to go with this week's theme and a girl with a little hat (or could it be a shower cap...lol?)

Useful Faces

I am just starting to struggle to stay on track with the 29 Faces challenge. But made my faces useful and added them to a card today. The trio of faces are drawn and coloured on moo cards. Only 7 faces left to go!

I am also going to share this over at Paper Saturdays.

Complementary Face

Here is a face that I did using black pencil crayon but then decided to add a touch of colour. So complementary colours came into play... purple hair and yellow background.

Week 39

of the documented life project has the theme 'feathers' so managed to link it with the  29 Faces challenge too! The girl is coloured with a mixture of Distress Inks and water colour pencils.

'Never dared' element of the 29 Faces challenge decided to' draw in pencil straight onto larger sheet of gessoed paper.

another face for the 29 Faces challenge, I am up to 16 now! This one has almost an icon/religious look, thought that wasn't done consciously. She is surrounded by bright/cheerful colours and I coloured her using Faber Castell Big Brush pens.

 

 

Trio of Faces

Yesterday worked on a trio of faces to keep me on track with 29 Faces challenge. Sketched using pencil and used watercolour pencil crayons to colour, worked in my ledger book.

 

 

 

Moo Face

 

As many of you know I like to work on a small scale but this a super mini face on a Moo card. Only used pencil with a touch of colour on the background for today's 29Faces.

 

 

Only Gelatos

Today's face was done straight into a ledger book. No drawing first and just used Gelatos, to add the fine detail I used thin paper stump, dipped it into the Gelato then did some drawing with it. On reflection think her face is a bit too round but I am proud of myself for keeping to the theme of 29Faces this month and doing something 'you never dared!'

Worked on a 2" x 2" square for my mini 29 Faces project today:

After first day back to work blues face yesterday, today's it a lot more cheerful!

 

 

Tell me why I don't like Monday's?

Pleased that I have managed to keep up with 29 Faces far after getting ahead before the next term started and cramped in a few makes over the weekend. Next up, sums up the mood of many when it is back to work:

More than one
